Terms of service
Last updated 24 October 2026
These terms apply when you use Tuvorlink: as a customer buying Wi-Fi from a business that uses Tuvorlink, or as a business or installer partner using it. By buying Wi-Fi or opening an account you agree to them.
1. What Tuvorlink does
Tuvorlink runs the Wi-Fi login and payment pages for Wi-Fi businesses (we call them operators): hostels, cafés, shops, schools and others. Each operator owns and runs its own Wi-Fi network and sets its own packages and prices. Tuvorlink takes the payment on the operator's behalf through Mobile Money providers, gives the customer access, and pays the operator its share.
2. Buying Wi-Fi
- Each package shows its price in Ghana cedis, its time, data or validity, and how many devices can use it. You pay the price shown, after any discount code or promotion.
- Your access starts once your Mobile Money payment is confirmed: your device is let on automatically, or you get a code to enter on the Wi-Fi login page.
- The Wi-Fi itself (its coverage, speed, equipment and opening hours) is provided by the operator you buy from. For problems with the connection, contact them first; their number is on your order page.
- Keep your code to yourself. Access used by someone you shared your code with can't be given back.
- The fair usage policy applies to every purchase, and our refund policy says when you can get your money back.
3. Businesses using Tuvorlink
- Give us accurate business, contact and payout details, and keep your login to yourself and your staff.
- You are responsible for your network and equipment, for any licence or permission you need to provide internet access, and for helping your customers with the quality of your Wi-Fi.
- Customers pay Tuvorlink. On the Standard plan we keep a commission on each sale (currently 4%, and your own rate is shown in your dashboard). Private ISP and Institutional plans are charged as agreed with you in writing.
- The rest is paid to your Mobile Money or bank account when you ask for it, or on the schedule you choose, once at least GHS 10.00 is due.
- Printed vouchers you sell for cash: the commission on those that are used is invoiced to you each month.
- Refunds we make to your customers under our refund policy come out of your share. No commission is kept on a sale that is refunded in full.
- You can stop using Tuvorlink at any time and ask for the balance due to you. We may suspend an account used for fraud, or one that breaks these terms or the law; money due for genuine sales is still paid out.
4. Installer partners
Partners who bring businesses to Tuvorlink earn a share of the commission on those businesses' sales (currently 20% of it, and each partner's own rate is shown in their dashboard), paid out as shown there. Partners must not promise customers or businesses anything on our behalf that these terms don't.
5. Equipment
Routers and access points bought from us are sold on an invoice. The prices, payment and delivery on that invoice apply, and any return or warranty is as stated there.
6. Acceptable use
Don't use Tuvorlink or a Wi-Fi network on it for anything illegal under the laws of Ghana, to get access you didn't pay for, or to attack or overload our systems or anyone else's. We may block access or close an account that does.
7. Availability and liability
- We work to keep Tuvorlink running at all times, but we can't promise it will never be interrupted. Mobile Money networks, payment providers and operators' internet connections are outside our control.
- We are not liable for indirect losses, such as lost business or lost data. For a customer, our total liability for a purchase is limited to what you paid for it. For an operator, it is limited to the commission we kept from your sales in the three months before the claim.
- Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under the laws of Ghana that can't be excluded.
8. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version. We'll tell operators and partners by email before a change that affects their payments takes effect. Using Tuvorlink after a change means you accept it.
9. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana. If something goes wrong, please contact us first: most problems are solved quickly that way.
