Privacy policy
Last updated 24 October 2026
This policy explains what personal data Tuvorlink collects, why, who sees it and what you can ask us to do with it. When you buy Wi-Fi, the business you buy from (the operator) also sees your purchase and is responsible for how it uses that information.
1. What we collect
- When you buy Wi-Fi: your Mobile Money number and network, the package, the amount, the time, and the payment's references from our payment provider. We don't store the SMS verification code you enter.
- From the hotspot: your device's network address (MAC address), the access point and Wi-Fi network you're on, and how much time and data your purchase has used.
- Customer accounts (where an operator offers them): your name, phone number, email if you give it, your devices and your plan. Your password is stored hashed, so no one can read it.
- Businesses and partners: names, email addresses, phone numbers, business details, payout details (Mobile Money or bank account) and your activity in the dashboard.
- When you contact us: what you write in the contact form (name, business, phone, email and message).
- Texts we send: the number, the message and whether it was delivered.
2. Why we use it
- To take your payment, give you access, and let your device back on until your package ends.
- To send your receipt or code by SMS, and to find your purchase again if you lose the page.
- To help you when something goes wrong, and to make refunds.
- To pay operators and partners their share, and to keep the accounts the law requires.
- To prevent fraud and misuse of the Wi-Fi networks.
We don't sell personal data, and we don't use it for advertising.
3. Who we share it with
- The operator you buy from: your purchase, Mobile Money number, device and usage on their Wi-Fi.
- Our payment provider (currently Moolre): your Mobile Money number and the amount, to take the payment.
- Our SMS provider (Arkesel): your number and the text we send you.
- The operator's Wi-Fi equipment service, where it's used (for example Grandstream GWN.Cloud): your device's network address, to let it on.
- Our hosting and email provider (Hostinger), which stores the data and sends our emails.
- Authorities, when the law requires us to.
4. Cookies
We only use the cookies the site needs to work: to keep you logged in, to protect forms, and to bring you back to a payment you started. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies.
5. How long we keep it
We keep payment and order records for as long as we need them for accounting, refunds and disputes, and for as long as the law requires. Account details are kept while the account is open. You can ask us to delete personal data we no longer need to keep.
6. Keeping it safe
Everything is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Passwords are stored hashed, and the keys businesses give us for their Wi-Fi equipment are stored encrypted. Each business sees only its own customers and sales.
7. Your rights
Under Ghana's Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843), you can ask to see the personal data we hold about you, have it corrected, or object to how we use it. Contact us using the details below. We may need to confirm the request comes from you, for example from your Mobile Money number.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy; the date at the top shows the latest version.
